Techinpedia ("Techinpedia", "we", "us") respects your right to control your data. This page explains how to delete the data Techinpedia holds about you — including data received from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp when you connect those accounts to the Techinpedia platform at crm.techinpedia.com. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Data We Store

  • Account details you give us: name, email address, phone number, company name and billing details.
  • Connected social accounts: when you connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account or a WhatsApp Business account we store the account / page IDs, names, profile pictures and the access tokens Meta issues (encrypted at rest), plus the messages, comments, leads and posts that Meta delivers to us for that account so you can manage them inside the CRM.
  • CRM data you create or import: contacts, leads, conversations, campaigns and files.

2. Delete Data Yourself (immediate)

  • Disconnect a Facebook or Instagram account: in the CRM open Social Media → Accounts and use Disconnect or Delete permanently. The stored access token is removed and the messages, comments and posts synced for that account are deleted.
  • Remove Techinpedia from Facebook: on Facebook go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select Techinpedia and click Remove. Meta stops sharing data with us immediately and we delete the remaining copies as described in section 4.
  • Delete individual records: conversations, contacts, leads and files can be deleted from their screens inside the CRM.
  • Close your account (mobile app): open More → Delete my account in the Techinpedia Android app and confirm. This starts a deletion request for the account you are signed in as.
  • Close your account (web): contact us as described below and we will erase all data belonging to the account.

3. Request Deletion by Email

Send an email to support@crm.techinpedia.com from the address registered with your Techinpedia account, with the subject line "Data deletion request". Tell us what you want deleted — your whole account, a connected Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp account, or specific records. We acknowledge every request within 2 business days, complete the deletion within 30 days and send you a written confirmation.

4. What Happens After Deletion

  • Your personal data and all data from your connected social accounts are permanently removed from our production systems.
  • Encrypted backups are rotated within 30 days; after that the deleted data no longer exists anywhere in our systems.
  • We keep only the minimal records the law obliges us to keep (for example invoices) for the statutory period. These never include content from your social accounts.
  • Deleting data from Techinpedia does not delete it from Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp themselves — manage that content directly on those platforms.
